Within the framework of the initiative Huella del Futuro, and together with the Spanish Embassy in Costa Rica and the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica, Azvi Costa Rica has collaborated in the creation of the Spanish Corporate Forest in the Municipality of Upala.
The President of the Republic, Carlos Alvarado, was in charge of planting the first specimens of the 1,700 trees that will make up Bosque Corporativo Español, accompanied by the First Vice President, Epsy Campbell, the Spanish Ambassador in Costa Rica, María Cristina Pérez, and representatives of the companies participating in the initiative.
For Grupo Azvi, as a signatory of the Global Compact, participation in this type of action is part of its Environmental Performance, as a means of contributing to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals; in this case, SDG 15.
