Azsuma is committed to health and safety, providing its employees with a safe working environment, constantly updating work procedures and occupational risk prevention measures, and complying with the applicable legal regulations in this area in all countries where it operates.

Azsuma has implemented and obtained AENOR certification for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001).

— Quality and Environment

Azsuma has implemented and obtained AENOR certification for its Quality (ISO 9001) and Environmental (ISO 14001) management systems.

The scope of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems applies to:

  • The provision of services for solid urban or similar waste collection, street cleaning and beach cleaning and maintenance.
  • The provision of maintenance and upkeep services for parks and gardens, children’s play areas, green spaces and wooded areas.
  • The provision of cleaning and maintenance services for buildings.

We study, develop and manage each project based on three fundamental pillars: increasing competitiveness through a commitment to technology and productivity; respect for the environment; and occupational health and safety.

— Climate change

In line with its commitment to combating climate change, Azsuma calculates its carbon footprint in accordance with the requirements set out in the UNE-EN-ISO 14064-1:2019 standard, ‘Greenhouse gases. Part 1’. The greenhouse gas inventory has been verified with a reasonable level of assurance by AENOR and has been registered in the Carbon Footprint Registry of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
